he is not aiming for wei wuxian himself, but rather in front of him, enough to force him back. if wei wuxian looks up to the source of the knives he will find that itachi is no longer there at all.
instead he is standing behind the man in his blindspot, roughly three meters behind him. a quick hand gesture, and then the utterance of the jutsu are all the warning he gets before a gust of air hits him, nearly hard enough to take him off his feet. ๏ผ
