[As soon as she's able, Clara makes her way over to his dorm room. While she had tried to make it sound like she had absolutely nothing of any worth to offer him for his birthday, she's excited to give him what she had brought for him. There's a small bag tucked away in her red satchel, which she fishes out and has held in both hands when she knocks on his door.
Inside the bag is a little gift. The black market candies she had managed to get her hands on, as well as what she had brought for him from the station. She had worked hard to make an origami squirrel, and although the paper is from a paper bag and her folding skills are terrible it's obvious effort went into trying to make it.
Of course, she doesn't spoil her surprise. She waits for him to open the door, and holds up the bag for him to take.]
I know you said not to celebrate, but I made you a gift.

it's... something, certainly. and it's clear he doesn't have a great deal of context in how to react to gifts, as they have never been a large part of his life. it was common for anything given to him as a child to be functional. his parents gave him kunai, and the chokuto he carried in anbu. sasuke was the one who would give him things like this, frivolous and artistic, no purpose except as a gift.

[It's hard to tell what he thinks based on his reaction. Her cheeks turn a bit pink as she rubs at the back of her neck for a moment, shrugging.]
When you spend nearly a month depressed and holed up alone in your room, you make use out of children's origami books and paper that were in the supply drop.

It was the only animal in the book that I thought would remind you of me.

I should make a habit of sealing cookware into scrolls, I suppose.

I have considered ration packs as well for that purpose, but encounter the same difficulty. Finn and I have theorized that it is possible for Jedi to manipulate scroll seals the way I do, but we have not had much time to test that theory.
[As he works, her eyes are focused in on what he's doing. She's good at committing things to memory, and wants to figure out how he makes his dango so perhaps she can make it all by herself another time.]

Finn and Rey, perhaps. Possibly the Cultivators. The Force and Qi are fundamentally similar to chakra, though we use them in different ways and for different purposes. However, it is not something you, for instance, could learn.
